Do Not Travel to our properties if you or your travelling partners exhibit the following signs and symptoms:

  • Shortness of Breath
  • or any flu like symptoms

Mask requirements

Masks are now required for everyone in all public indoor settings and workplaces. People who cannot wear a mask or who cannot put on or remove a mask on their own are exempt.

Visitor Restrictions

We do not allow any visitors to our vacation accommodations at this time.  Only paid guests are allowed in units.

Acer Vacations Commitment to Cleanliness

We have always committed to a high standard of cleanliness for guests.  During this time we have made some changes to increase the cleanliness of our properties based on the BC Health Authority and BC CDC.  We hope that our efforts will make your stay in our properties as safe and worry free as possible.

  • Our properties will have 24 hours between the departure of guests and cleaning of the units.
  • Gloves and masks will be worn by our professional cleaning service provider during the cleaning process.
  • Our professional cleaners will be cleaning and disinfecting all high-touch surfaces between stays.

Guest Services and Amenities Changes

Cleaning Supplies: Cleaning supplies will be left in the unit for your use. Should you require extra supplies during your stay please notify us.

Linens and Pillows: Professionally cleaned fresh linens will be provided for your stay including comfy robes and towels for the pool area.  For stays over 7 nights, one set of additional linens and towels will be provided.

Mid Stay Cleans: There are no mid stay cleans offered at this time. Should you require more linens or towels during your stay they will be available for an additional fee. Our staff will not enter the unit during your stay.

Toiletries: Toiletries will be supplied for the first day only. It is recommended that you bring shampoo and conditioner.  We will supply toilet paper (packaged) and some paper towel (packaged). For units with washers and dryers there will be laundry soap provided.  Additional toilet paper, paper towel, and laundry soap is available upon request.

Extra Linens: Extra Blankets and Pillows are available upon request.  There will be no spare linens in the units.

Sofa Beds: Sofa Beds (where applicable) will only be made upon request. You must request the sofa bed to be made at the time of booking.  We are unable to make the sofa bed once guests have checked in.

Contactless Check-In Process

We will send you the required entry codes and instructions 14 days prior to your arrival.

Check-Out Process

We request the following from you upon check-out to ensure that our staff are kept safe and well and that we can spend the time required to clean for the following guests.

You Must Do the Following Upon Check-out to Avoid Additional Cleaning Fees

  • All garbage and recycling must be taken out of the unit prior to departure.
  • All used kitchen items must be placed in the dishwasher and the dishwasher should be turned on.  The kitchen must be clean.

Acer Vacations Relaxed Booking and Cancellation Policy

PAYMENT – 25% is due upon booking.  

The balance of your stay is due in full 45 days prior to arrival.  Payments can be made in the form of Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Wire Transfers payable to Acer Vacation Rentals Ltd.

Deposits are NOT REFUNDABLE except for the following:

Should you need to cancel your stay due to COVID-19 prior to the final deposit due you will be refunded the initial deposit. Should you need to cancel due to COVID-19 once the final deposit is taken 45 days prior to your arrival, you will be issued a credit for future use within one year of the original booking.  The credit is for the original total in Canadian dollars and not the number of nights in a specific unit.

NOTE: We do not recommend booking a stay arriving before Sept 2021 if you are travelling from outside of Canada at this time.

Greystone Lodge COVID-19 Operational Changes

Entry Doors: Front Doors are locked 24/7.  You will need your common area code to access the building.

Front Desk: A plexiglass barrier has been installed at the front desk. The front desk may alter hours based on occupancy.

Sanitizing Stations: Hand Sanitizing Stations can be found:

  • In the Lobby
  • Inside Elevator
  • Inside Pool Area

Social Distancing Measures & Masks:

  • Signage throughout building reminding guests and staff to maintain 2M distancing
  • Stickers in Lobby
  • Masks are to be worn in all areas of the building except within units.

Greystone Lodge Outdoor Pool and Hot Tub Area Usage

  • Maximum of 10 people as per the Vancouver Coastal Health requirements.
  • Max 1 hour pool use
  • Max 20 Minutes Hot Tub Use
  • Please shower prior to using the pool or hot tubs
  • No Lifeguard on Duty

Contact Tracing Sign in: Guests are required to sign in on a contract tracing sheet when using the pool facility. The contact tracing sheet will be located by the hot tub jet activation switch on the building side of the pool deck. This must be completed each time the facility is used even if more than once a day.

Signage and sanitizing stations are in place for use by the facility users. This will be refilled daily or as required.

There is to be no pool furniture brought into the facility at this time.

The Aspens Pool and Hot Tub Operations and Usage

The following is the Aspens Strata Manager Update as of June 26th, 2020

The pool and pool area hot tub will be open for guests to use but operating in a COVID-19 responsible
manner, following Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) requirements and guidelines. This notice provides
Owners general information about how The Aspens will manage summer pool and hot tub operations
for COVID-19.

  • Pool area and Hot Tub Area Opened 1Pm to 9pm Daily
  • No Lifeguard on Duty
  • Registered Guests Only
  • Pool and Hot Tub Sign Up

Aspens Pool and Hot Tub Use
Please comply with the following general rules when in the pool and hot tub area.
Maintain social distancing, 6-feet minimum, and wear masks if not with people in your

  • Use the hand sanitizing station before touching surfaces.
  • Use the sanitizing spray wipe down deck furniture.
  • No water toys will be allowed in the pool or hot tub.
  • Plastic single use cups will be available. No glass is allowed in the pool or hot tub area.

Aspens Pool and Hot Tub Sign-Up

ALL Owners, long-term renters and guests wishing to use the pool or hot tub must register
before using the pool and hot tub and identify how many in their party.

  • People not registered will not be allowed entry to the pool or hot tub.
  • Users will be assigned time slots. Late arrivals will not be allowed extra time to make up for
    being late.
  • Users can sign up for more time if no one is booked in the time slot after them.

Monitoring Use of the Aspens Pool and Pool Area Hot Tub
The VCH requires the Strata have an attendant present during the hours the pool and hot tub are open.
The attendant’s role is to monitor use, help users comply with the rules during open hours, help sanitize
pool furniture and check users in and out. To manage the cost of this unplanned requirement, only the
pool and pool area hot tub will be open and open hours will be kept to one 8-hour shift.
Please note the attendant will not be trained as a lifeguard. As always, use of the pool and hot tub is at
one’s own risk.

Aspens Pool Closure: Sept 8th, 2020
The Aspens pool area will close September 8th after Labor Day so the contractor can resurface the pool deck.

The Marquise Pool, Hot Tub, and Sauna Facilities are CLOSED
